| Autoswitch is a clever device that will turn on an accessory
by integrating with the low/high beam selector switch or the
turn signal cancel on BMW's - very popular for driving
lights. The unit is fitted with a small ultra-bright LED with a long lead to
indicate the accessories status and to aid in turning the accessory on and off.
Here is how it works; turn on your high beams or press the
turn signal cancellation button on BMW motorcycles between 0.8
and 1.8 seconds and then back to low beam or release the turn signal cancel. The LED will
flash at the 0.8 to 1.8
second window. Your accessory is now on as is the LED. Flashing your high
beams or simply turning them on will not affect your accessory. To turn the
accessory off, follow the turn-on procedure. The LED will begin to flash on when you
are in the 0.8 to 1.8 window letting you know to switch back to low beam.
