| Our ipod® adaptor is multi function.
It converts the audio out to a 3.5mm connector so that it can be plugged into
the bike's AUX input. It connects to the 3 pin Hitachi connector in the
fairing for switched power and ground. This is a "T" connector so that no
splitter is needed and you can continue to use your Power Plug or whatever else
is connected to it. The last wire connects to the battery for constant
power. For ipod® mini,Nano, 3rd Gen, 4th Gen, Photo and Video Models with
bottom docking port.
The adaptor provides a clean audio
connection without having to use an FM Modulator, power to operate the ipod®
without having to use a cigarette lighter adaptor, and will charge the ipod®
until the battery is topped off and then shut off. The charge feature will
not reactive until the bike has been turned on again, therefore not draining the
bike's battery.
